Seating is first-come/first-serve at Managementʼs discretion.
All tables (including VIP) are generally considered to be shared. If youʼve purchased fewer than 4 tickets you will likely be sat with another party at the same table. You will need to purchase all 4 seats if you would like to guarantee your own private 4-person table.
If you wish to sit with another party, you may request so in the notes section of your order and we will do our best to accommodate. You may also call our Box Office during operating hours or by emailing denver.boxoffice@improv.com. We cannot guarantee large groups who arrive incomplete will be sat together. It is strongly recommended that large parties meet in our front lobby before entering the showroom together.
Out of respect for our artists and your fellow guests, doors will close 30 minutes after each show’s scheduled start. At that time entry/re-entry will not be permitted should you arrive late or choose to leave the building for any reason once admitted.

Disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and could lead to ejection from the showroom without refund and without warning. Again, refunds will not be issued to guests removed from the showroom.
“Disruptive Behavior” includes but is not limited to:
-Heckling
-Excessive “Table Talk”
-Smoking/Vaping Inside
-Refusing to share your table if all 4 seats have not been purchased in advance
-Inappropriate or in any way aggressive behavior towards fellow guests or staff, at Management’s discretion
-Photo/Video Recording***
-Live Streaming***

About the Artist:
Julie Kim is one of Canadaʼs top stand-up comedians. Julie recently toured across North America doing 40 theatre shows with Ronny Chieng (Crazy Rich Asians, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah). She was a gala performer at the 2022 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and headlined four sold-out solo shows at Just for Laughs Toronto in 2023. Over the past decade, Julie has performed at all the major Canadian comedy festivals including Just for Laughs Vancouver, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Halifax Comedy Festival (with multiple televised performances). She tours internationally and made her debut at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Julie has also been regularly featured on CBCʼs The Debaters.
In 2023 Julie also debuted at both the Toronto Fringe Festival and Victoria Fringe Festival with her solo storytelling show called No One Special.
Julie is also a Canadian Screen Award winning writer and producer. Julie has contributed to the writing rooms of Kimʼs Convenience, Run the Burbs, and Still Standing. She has been part of the writing and creative consulting team at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival for the past three years. She was also a writer for Just for Laughs Montreal in 2022. Julie was a producer and writer for Simu Liu (Marvelʼs Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) as he hosted the 2022 and 2023 Juno Awards. She ideated Liuʼs now well-known ‘I am Canadianʼ monologue, which has gone viral on the Internet and social media.

Also in 2023, Julie was included on VIBEʼs list of POWER 60: Inspiring Asian-Canadians of Influence. Other notable honorees included Lilly Singh, Andrew Phung, and Russell Peters. Julie’s mission is to spread happiness, lighten hearts, and unite through laughter. And no amount of mom-shaming will stop her in this quest.
