BIO: Born and raised in Miami, Florida Malik S. is the last of seven children and a triple threat talent (comedian, actor and writer). His stand-up career has given him the opportunity to be an actor and a network TV writer. He grew up defending himself from his older siblings with laughter. Malik’s material is based on everyday life with a lot of creative humor in between. After, receiving his Bachelor’s degree at Florida Memorial University, Malik taught high school for one year while pursuing his career as a comedian.Malik has performed on many stages, but it was on BET’s Comic View where he got his break six months after beginning on his journey. He went on to appear on the show for five consecutive seasons from 1999-2004. Malik has appeared on HBO Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central Live at Gotham, NBC Last Comic Standing season 4, ABC Comics Unleashed and HBO P. Diddy Presents Bad Boyz of Comedy. As his career flourished, Mark personalized his artistic passion and parlayed it into one of his greatest labors of love: A one-hour Showtime special aptly entitled “Tales of a Nuyorican.”. With the success of and a sold-out tour with singer Marc Anthony, he firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with. Mark seized an opportunity to give back by first performing on a comedy special, “Stand Up For Family”, for American Family Insurance. “Stand Up For Family”, hosted by good friend and fellow comic Bill Bellamy, became a benchmark for entertainment. Shows like the “Make a Wish Foundation” and the “VIP Drug Rehabilitation Centers” in his native Bronx, as well as several command performances for our U.S. military overseas, accent his philanthropic efforts. Recently, Wayans appeared on HBO Max Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners as the only LGBTQ performer in the hour-long, no-holds-barred stand-up comedy special. Curating her own stand-up shows in Los Angeles. During the height of the pandemic in 2021, she was the headlining act on the USO’s 80th Anniversary National Guard Senior Leadership Thanksgiving Tour. Wayans worked her way from the ground up before becoming a famous actress and stand-up comedian. She was introduced to the world of filmmaking while working as a production assistant on the film Scary Movie 2. She also served as a production assistant on Soul Train and earned her way up to assistant editor on ABC’s comedy, My Wife and Kids over the course of five seasons. BIO: Steve Byrne has established himself as one of the most reliable and versatile stand up comedians working over the course of his 20 plus year career. He got his start, making the rounds of all the prestigious clubs in New York City, The Comedy Cellar, The Comic Strip, Gotham Comedy Club, to name a few, eventually breaking the record for most sets in one night, 13. Steve then uprooted himself and became a fixture at all the famous clubs in Los Angeles, The Comedy Store, The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Over the course of Steve’s career he has recorded a 1/2 hour special for Comedy Central and taped 4 hour specials, “Happy Hour”, “The Byrne Identity”, “Champion” and “Tell the Damn Joke” for Comedy Central, Showtime and Netflix. In late 2021, he will tape his 5th hour special “The Neon Disease”. Along the way, he’s appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel”, “Conan” twice, “The Late, Late Show” four times and “The Tonight Show” ten times and the feature films “Couples Retreat” and “Four Christmases”.
